Trailhead Cabins Modular Home Build Process

Imagine waking to the crisp scent of pine and fresh brewed coffee wafting through cedar walls that have stood strong against a decade of mountain winters. Picture children laughing as they dash from a sturdy porch to a glowing campfire, the solid click of a well hung door echoing behind them. These are the everyday moments that define life in a thoughtfully crafted cabin

At Trailhead Cabins, we focus on building structures that prioritize durability and timeless design, creating spaces where families can gather, relax, and make lasting memories in the heart of nature.

Trailhead Cabins Are Built Differently

In the construction of each modular home we build, we use premium materials for a long lasting modular home with engineered drawers ensuring your new home built to survive the elements. Here are some of things that go into your home:

  • LVL beam framing: The backbone that keeps lines true and roofs tight.
  • ZIP System™ sheathing (on roof): A sealed, weather-smart shell for a quieter, drier, more efficient cabin.
  • Sherwin-Williams XL 29-gauge metal roofing: Storm-tough, color-stable, and made for decades, not seasons.
  • Custom Woodwright™ stain blends (UV-protected): Real wood glow that lasts—no orange fade, no chalky gray.
  • Composite decking options: A porch you can barefoot in July and trust in January for years to come with long warranties. (available on Double Wide only).

These are standard materials and processes that go into every module cabin, ensuring your new home is built to last.
